Feel State opens community-based cannabis dispensary in Kansas City

The second independently owned and operated Feel State medical cannabis dispensary recently opened its doors at 1421 Wabash Avenue in Kansas City. Feel State Kansas City will serve qualifying patients and caregivers from 10am to 7pm Monday through Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday.

The dispensary will be having a block party on Saturday, August 14th from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. They will have great giveaways, vendors, food, music, and more, with a majority of the event taking place outside and open to the general public.

“It is truly exciting to be able to help bring the patient and community-focused Feel State brand to Kansas City,” said dispensary manager, Angela Bridges-Harmon. “Having watched and interacted with the Feel State team for quite a while, I look forward to working with them to bring their mission and vision to life.”

Bridges-Harmon, along with the entire dispensary ownership and in-store team, have worked diligently to create an open and inclusive environment where they can help educate the community about cannabis and its potential benefits. The dispensary offers free onsite and virtual consultations with their staff and has a vast collection of other free resources available on their website (most notably a patient guidebook and journal) so everyone can learn more about the plant.

“We are honored to have the opportunity to work with this ownership and dispensary team in Kansas City,” stated Corey Rimmel, Co-founder of Feel State. “It’s an honor to be a part of this community and we can’t wait to help another local small business grow for years to come.”

In addition to the dispensary in Kansas City, Feel State currently is working with a second ownership group in Florissant (St. Louis) whose independently owned and operated Feel State branded dispensary opened in June of this year. “Having the opportunity to bring our community and education based approach to cannabis to two markets is something we are extremely grateful for,” Rimmel added.
