Participants will have direct interaction with the Missouri Medical Marijuana Regulatory Program Director Lyndall Fraker and Patient Services Director Erica Ziegler

St. Louis, MO: MoCannBizCon+EXPO will return to historic Union Station on August 11th and 12th featuring a significant selection of dynamic speakers. In addition to educational sessions presented by more than fifty (50) high-caliber cannabis experts and professionals, Missouri patients will now have the option to attend the patient track in a live or virtual format. The August 12th session will include top regulators in Missouri’s Medical Marijuana Regulatory Program (MMRP), Director Lyndall Fraker and Patient Services Director Erica Ziegler. Virtual access for the patient track is free, while live tickets start at $39.

“We are so incredibly happy to offer this educational track for Missouri patients in both live and virtual formats,” said Midwest Canna Expos Director of Education Wendy Turner. “Our goal is to empower patients with cannabis, so we will have sessions on cultivating at home, making your own edibles, dosing, and many other important topics. Patients will also have the ability to interact with Lyndall Fraker and Erica Ziegler by directly asking questions about the Missouri program.”

Former St. Louis Rams players Mike Jones and Kyle Turley and former New York Mets system player Tyler Beuerlein will lead a panel discussion during the patient track on August 11th. Topics will include athletes using cannabis as medicine, controversial cannabis testing policies in professional sports, and whether cannabis is a performance-enhancing drug.

In addition to panel discussions with Missouri medical marijuana program regulators and former professional athletes, the patient track will include several informational sessions. Featuring patient and consumer educators as well as cannabis advocates with extensive knowledge, Missouri patients attending the educational track will have the opportunity to learn about the Missouri medical marijuana program, home cultivation rules and methods, making cannabis-infused edibles, and dosing methods and efficacy, among several other topics.
