Greenlight expands low to no-cost certification partnership

Greenlight is promoting patient access with a new expansion of their certification partnership program. Originally launched in St. Louis, Greenlight has created a program targeted at educating and certifying Missouri patients at low to no cost. Now, after the success of its early launch, Greenlight is helping patients throughout Missouri.

Greenlight spoke to Greenway about the early success and continued growth of their program.

“Since starting the program in the St. Louis area, we are very pleased to have helped as many patients as we have in a few short months,” said Jessica Squires from Greenlight. “This is why we are expanding to the rest of the state. I think there are still too many people out there that don’t even know where to start and don’t realize how simple the process can be. All of our locations and employees are well informed on how to walk them through each step.”

In just a few short months Greenlight has helped to certify over 2,000 Missourians as patients.

While Greenlight’s model highlights areas near their operating dispensaries, all Missourians qualify for a hefty discount. And with the ease of online access, it’s easy for those with qualifying conditions to be seen and evaluated.

“It is only about 25 minutes, online with the doctor discussing patient qualifications and facts about cannabis and this form of medicine. If you are in one of the zip codes or surrounding zip codes, you will qualify for the no-charge evaluation. If not, there is a 50% off option.”

“We have helped over 2,000 patients so far with this evaluation program! We will continue this program as long as this is still a resource that patients are taking advantage of!”

“It is important that patients know what cannabis is and all the ways it can help so they can make an informed decision on this form of medicine. Cannabis looks different in the daily life of every patient for multiple reasons. There are hundreds of different strains and ways of medicating when it comes to cannabis, we want to be a reliable source of information for them.”

In addition to the educational materials created for certifications, Greenlight is dedicated to producing resources to educate. Greenlight has partnered with St. Louis University (SLU) to lead a course in the cannabis degree program, and educational videos have been uploaded to Greenlight’s YouTube channel.
