Wana launches in Missouri for medical marijuana patients

Missouri’s medical marijuana patients now have access to Wana Brands’ potent and effective Sour Gummies, available in a range of ratios designed to meet different needs. Wana products available through Missouri medical marijuana dispensaries include Mango Sativa, Blueberry Indica, and Watermelon Hybrid, all of which provide 10mg servings in a 100mg package.

“Missouri patients have long waited for access to trusted and regulated cannabis-infused products. Our Wana products provide these patients with a range of ratios and doses that allow them to dial in their treatment,” said Wana CEO Nancy Whiteman. “We’re also committed to delivering the most inclusive premium options on the market: vegan, gluten-free, and made from all-natural ingredients.”

Wana partnered with Clovr, a Kansas City-based cannabis-infused product manufacturer, to produce Wana products. Clovr has built its reputation on manufacturing safe, consistent and quality cannabis products that Missouri’s medical marijuana patients can trust. Wana’s partnership with Clovr continues to cement North America’s No. 1 edibles producer’s Midwest domination, with the brand also available in Ohio, Illinois, Michigan and Oklahoma. Wana Brands’ footprint also extends to Colorado, California, Arizona, Maryland, Florida and Oregon, and internationally to Canada.

Wana is North America’s largest cannabis-infused edibles producer by leading the industry in innovation. Its expanded product portfolio offers a range of different CBD/THC ratios as well as a variety of different dosages, onset times and duration of effects. The portfolio is designed so that products can be used singly or in combination to address specific health and wellness needs. Wana Brands’ innovative and dependable products are held to the strictest quality standards. Since the company was established in 2010, all of Wana’s products have undergone rigorous third-party testing.

From the beginning, Wana has focused on quality. During the cooking process, the gummies are infused with a high-quality tincture, not sprayed. More than 30 different types of pectin were tested to determine the best possible consistency and scalability. Fruit pectin makes Wana Sour Gummies vegan. All Wana products are gluten-free and made with all-natural flavoring, coloring and sugar. Wana gummies contain no mineral oil or artificial sweeteners, which can cause stomach upset.

Over 65,000 patients have been registered and approved for Missouri’s medical marijuana program. Missouri’s medical dispensaries opened for business in October 2020, after a lengthy appeals process waged by rejected cannabis business applicants. The state’s legal medical cannabis market is predicted to hit $200 million in sales by the end of 2021.
