Cassville Dispensary opens its doors to the public, preparing for product

Southwest Missouri Cassville Dispensary is opening its doors to the public since being approved by the state to operate.

“We are ecstatic to announce that we passed our commencement inspection and are already open to the public to register and educate new patients,” said Dr. Lisa Roark, MD, owner and medical director of Cassville Dispensary. “It was a long process to make sure we had everything meet or exceed the expectations set out by DHSS and our company mission of patients over profits. I’m proud of our talented, dedicated team for their effort in making sure we are one the most educated and patient-focused dispensaries in Missouri”

They anticipate having medical marijuana products available soon, but until then are focusing on patient education.

“Now that our commencement phase is complete, we are focusing heavily on ensuring our patient care associates are ready for the first batch of THC flower that should hit shelves very soon,” Charlea Estes-Jones, Cassville Dispensary general manager. “Our staff is doing a phenomenal job to make sure we are ready to help patients in whatever they need and meet them exactly where they are in their cannabis health journeys. Whether you are a long-time user treating your issues or a first-time patient who has had no cannabis experience, we have the perfect people to help you with your wellness journey and answer any questions you have. We are open to the public already Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., so please come say hello and meet our team. We’d love to meet you.”

The dispensary is posting updates on their Facebook page and website.

Cassville is located in Barry County in southwest Missouri, halfway between Neosho and Branson – just over an hour from Springfield.

Missouri has approved 9 dispensaries to operate, 5 cultivation facilities, as well as 1 testing lab as of October 2. No medical marijuana product is currently available for purchase, pending testing completion.
