Spring 2019 Missouri NORML State Conference to take place next week in KC

On Saturday, April 27, Kansas City will play host to Missouri NORML’s Spring State Conference at The 10 Spot at 1000 Broadway Boulevard in downtown Kansas City.  

Scheduled speakers for the event include Lyndall Fraker, the Director of the Missouri Medical Marijuana Program; Rep. Brandon Ellington, member of the Black Caucus in the Missouri House of Representatives; Kansas City mayoral candidates Jolie Justus and Quinton Lucas; a panel on patient cultivation which will include Jonathon Callicoat and George Nolen; and a keynote from Erik Altieri, the national Executive Director of NORML.

Admission to the event is free and open to the public. The after party and fundraiser featuring an auction and open bar Saturday night will require tickets, $25 advance or $30 at the door more information about the event and schedule can be found at http://www.monorml.org/

On Friday, April 26, Missouri NORML will co-host a fundraiser with the New Approach Missouri campaign at Californo’s in Westport. The event will provide funding for New Approach Missouri to pay off outstanding debts accrued during the 2018 campaign. Admission to the event will be $50 per person.
